Allie Saunders became Texas State's first athlete of the weekend to qualify for the NCAA Final Championships to be held in Eugene, Ore., June 11-14. The junior from Pearland triple jumped 12.77 meters (41-feet-10.75-inches) to finish eighth and secure a spot in the NCAA Finals.
