Alyssa Wilson, a graduate student-athlete at Texas State, placed second in the women's hammer throw with a second-round mark of 245-4 (74.78m), ascending to the No. 2 performer in collegiate history at the NCAA Division 1 Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore. Wilson also elevated to the No. 7 competitor in American history, and has two of the top 13 performances all-time collegiately. She also produced a mark of 52-9.25 (16.08m) to finish 23rd in the shot put final.
